JOSEPH M. MEIR - PRESIDENT Joe Meir

The company President, Mr. Joseph Meir, was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since graduation from Duke University in 1981, he has been actively involved in the commercial real estate business. In 1984, Mr. Meir joined the Real Estate Department at Prudential-Bache Securities Inc., in New York City, where he became Assistant Vice President. At the investment bank, he put together joint ventures and limited partnerships for new developments throughout the United States. In 1987, Mr. Meir decided to enter the development side of the business and left the investment bank to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in their Center for Real Estate Development. After receiving his Masters Degree, he spent one year with Richard Gordon Interests, a Hartford-based commercial real estate firm, before returning to Raleigh to start Blue Ridge Realty, Inc. Mr. Meir has an AB degree from Duke University, an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from MIT. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, and has spoken at real estate conferences and tax seminars. He is a past member of the Southern 7 Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a past President and Board Member of The Triangle Area Office Building Association, as well as member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) and Tacquire.


VICTOR MEIR- VICE PRESIDENT/IN HOUSE COUNSEL Victor Meir

Victor Meir was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is an attorney and a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Tenth Judicial District Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association. While attending law school, he clerked for the law firm of Johnson, Mercer, Hearn & Vinegar in their corporate and real estate departments. His expertise is in the area of contracts, leases and property management. Mr. Meir has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Juris Doctor from Western New England School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts.


CAROL MARTIN - ACCOUNTANT

Carol joined Blue Ridge Realty, Inc. as Accounting Manager in 2006. She brings more than 25 years of accounting experience in the areas of budgeting, profit planning and projection, and the management and the reporting of financial statements. Carol enjoys working at Blue Ridge Realty because “the team is diverse, incredibly intelligent and has been able to consistently grow each year with bright prospects for future growth”. While born in New York, Carol moved to North Carolina as soon as an opportunity was presented. She earned an A.O.S. Degree in Accounting from Center City Business School in Syracuse, New York. She is a State of North Carolina Notary of Public. Outside the office, Carol enjoys walking her German shepherd “Fritz”, beating her husband at golf, spending time with her two children, boating on the lake with friends, and gardening.


JENNIFER GLOVER - PROPERTY MANAGER

Jennifer brings 12 years of Property Management experience to Blue Ridge Realty, Inc. She has been with the company since 2009, and manages all aspects of the property management of 700,000 square feet of Class A Office, Medical and Retail space, including anticipating and responding to a variety of tenant needs. Jennifer also oversees the daily operations of the maintenance team, making sure that they are responding to and resolving tenant maintenance requests. Jennifer is a member of the Building Owners/Managers Association (BOMA). A Raleigh native, Jennifer earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Wake Technical Community College. Upon graduation, she relocated to Wilmington, NC where she was a Property Manager for Drucker & Falk. Jennifer is a past Board Member and Vice President of the Wilmington Apartment Association. Luckily, she returned to Raleigh and has been with Blue Ridge Realty ever since. When she is not at work, she likes to spend her time traveling, reading, taking trips to the beach, and working out.


LESLIE ROSSI - OFFICE MANAGER

Leslie joined Blue Ridge Realty, Inc. in 2009 as an Office Manager. Her multi-tasking responsibilities include managing the day to day operations that support the entire office, including responding to tenant needs, accounts payable, managing lease files, and coordinating with technical support and service vendors. Prior to Blue Ridge Realty, Leslie began her career in the residential real estate market as an Operations Manager for a high end custom builder. A native of New York & New Jersey, Leslie earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Bergen Community College. She moved to North Carolina in 1995, raised her children here in the South, and decided to make it her permanent home. In her free time, Leslie enjoys reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with her two sons, family and friends.


BILL PIVER - CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

As the Construction Manager at Blue Ridge Realty, Inc., Bill oversees building maintenance, construction, and fit-up projects from inception to completion. He coordinates with the City to obtain the appropriate permits, and works with Architects, Engineers, and Contractors to ensure work is completed properly and up to code. A native of Wilmington, NC, Bill has 26 years of construction experience. He is a Veteran of United States Army, dedicating 13 years to the Service. He earned his Degree at Andover College in Portland, Maine. Bill joined Blue Ridge Realty, Inc in 2010. He brings outstanding expertise and a wonderful sense of humor to the Blue Ridge Realty team. Life outside of the office includes his wife, three sons, and 5 Grandchildren. Bill is also an avid Gardener and enjoys tending to his Rose garden.


LISA VAN ROEKEL- LEASING AGENT/MARKETING ASSISTANT

In 2011, Lisa joined Blue Ridge Realty, Inc. as a Leasing Agent and Marketing Assistant. In addition to working to bring prospects to lease, she maintains and updates the Blue Ridge Realty website and marketing materials, as well as keeps the Company plugged into social media. Lisa is a member of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA). A native of Lexington, NC, Lisa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, majoring in Marketing from NC State University in 2007. She is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys water skiing, cheering on the NC State Wolfpack, and spending time with her friends, family, husband, and their dog, Ava. Lisa has a passion for world travel and is NAUI SCUBA certified.
